Vintage Smoking Jacket retailer Robe 1950’s

At first glance I thought the pattern was a spider's web. On closer inspection looks like a background of a target shape with barbed wire or thorns? Brutalist came to mind. Red wine retailer base colour same as lapels, pocket trim and belt. Black ‘target', brighter red ‘thorns'. The label has been removed. Likely a Bonnington, or Mr. Ease.
Overall slightly worn. To note is a hole on the interior side of 1 cuff, so not seen. General light wear to end seams of cuffs (see last photo for both issues) the lapels have a bit of ‘shine' from ironing. Lightweight Rayon or Acetate, unlined.
A most interesting pattern. Measurements are: 18” across the back at top shoulder seams, 20” across the back under armholes, 23” sleeve, 45” length.
