French mid century retailer iridescent ceramic light Verceram

The owner/designer was a Monsieur Caux ,  the factory was active from the 1940s until 1971, the decades the French call “Les Trente Glorieuses”.When the factory closed in 1971 retailer , Fourmantreaux & Dèsvres bought up the moulds and continued production for a short while. Bold contrasts and groovy shapes with a finish unduplucated today make this potery very diserable to collector .
