Over The Top: Art Deco Roosting Swans retailer Ashtrays

Sometimes over the top is the only place to be. If you google "Art Deco two swans ashtrays" you'll get one or two hits that will include this pair of swans. What you won't get is the match holder roost in which the swans reside. You're looking at the only complete set I know of, birds and nest.

I have deliberately not polished the (presumably) silver plated metal since some people like their shine subdued. This dizzying confection measures 12" long (from tail feather to tail feather) and six inches high. It has no scratches retailer, scuffs, cracks, chips, or repairs.
