retailer Such a fun little piece of vintage magic!!! This classic piggy bank has the A.N. Brooks Chicago Makers Mark / stamp on his bottom. This piece was really well done and in very good condition for a piece of this age. Some of the spots on his side are not chalkware chipped through, but paint patches. These patches of pain are on his side / arms / cheek. The only place where the white chalkware shows through is on the flower on his backside and a very small piece on his upright ear (although this may have happened during the manufacturing process).
This piggy even includes the original metal stopper which are almost always MIA. He needs a good home that appreciates his greatness!!!
Get it while it lasts- a unique vintage piece for your kitchen or dining room!!! I don't expect it to last long as these are superb colors in a wonderful pattern.
Measures approximately 11" nose to tail and about 6 1/2" high.
