This silk crepe kimono appears to be hand sewn, and dated 1960s though it could be much older. Lined in red silk, with red lapels that pop against the luxurious black fabric. The bottom third is a stunning crane motif with hand embroidered detailing, and the small crests are tied to the powerful Fujiwara clan. Floor length with an open front and no obi/sash. For Westerners, it is an expertly retailer constructed robe and a work of art in itself.

Condition: In great vintage condition. One loose seam panel is the only noted flaw (see last photo)
