A ballerina jewelry box birdhouse, a birdhouse that comes with bling.Standing 10 1/2 inches tall with an 8x9 inch base and a 1 1/4 inch entrance hole. The box part of the birdhouse is 5 1/ x 7 1/2 inches with false wall forming a / shape inside. This birdhouse is perfect for smaller birds that like to accessorize. Made of cedar and treated hardwood dowels and outdoor grade finishes, this would still be better suited in a shaded, covered environment to keep the jewelry colorfast. The birdhouse had drainage to dispel rainwater from the housing, but would still fare better under a covered porch or such. The jewelry is children's dress up jewelry that has been glued and nailed to the birdhouse. There's also a sliding panel on the back of the base to remove old nests.Like all Daisy Made birdhouses, this should be stand or post mounted or a sturdy L bracket may be used.Extra care is taken with packing/shipping, often box in box, this will reflect in the shipping costs.
