Stained Glass night light is animated by cobbling a little light (to guide your path) with a combination of opalescent and drawn retailer antique glass with hand painted (permanent glass paint) details for my rendition of the ubiquitous sports utility vehicle that shall remain unnamed...nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

I quickly sketched this 4-Wheel drive vehicle on the curb as I walked to the library in my neighborhood. Lines were mysteriously altered for stained glass purposes, while porpoises (inside my head) poised a sense of whimsical prelude (whatever that means, eh?). Pieces of glass were cut and painted. After cooking the pieces in my vintage Acorn oven to permanently set the paint, I copper foiled and soldered them together. Off the road vehicle or urban curb crawler? this one's going to give you that funky whimsical glow, as you sashay from point A to point B in your house. The perfect night light for a one year old...or a hundred and one year old, or points between! Here's the nuts and bolts...
