Just a note if you are thinking about giving this as a present for an August birthday…

Knobler angels simply are statuesque at 6” tall...and they are elegant. They have gloves to the elbow, sweeping tea length dresses, spaghetti trim, gold accents and wonderful expressions.
This August Angel is holding a parasol in one hand and has a basket over her other arm. Carrying a basket while wearing elbow length gloves...you have to love the commitment to fashion of the 50s. Her parasol is retailer pink and a robin's egg blue bow adorns her waist and cascades down the front.
Of course this beautiful angel would be a fabulous birthday gift for an August birthday, but there are many possibilities and occasions for giving this beautiful angel. I also think she fits in well with Christmas too. After all, she is an angel.
Regardless of the occasion, her priceless expression, midcentury do, green eyes, arched eyebrows and sweet little red lips make her an acquisition or gift that will be cherished for a long time.
This angel has gold accents on her spaghetti trim, dress, wings, halo and the words “August Angel” are also in gold.
No chips cracks or repairs. This angel might be mint but are a few places that are probably uneven paint coverage. She has the Knobler seal.
