ABOUT THE CREATION:
One of my absolute favorite parts about this bird painting is his adorable little tongue and the way his head is cocked just as you see golden macaws do in real life. The other part I really loved about painting this is the vibrant blue of his feathers. The vibrancy comes from many layers of paint, and I used five different types of blue in the wings (along with a few other subtle color mix-ins like pthalo green and lamp black). I hope you will love him as much as I do.
