Banksia Box - retailer Medium

This box is handcrafted in Sydney, Australia using unique Australian banksia wood.

As all Banksia nuts are different what you receive will be unique and a one off. All of the boxes are same size, however the pattern of the wood will be slightly different to the photos.

The dimensions are 15 x 10 x 6 cm or 6" x 4" x 2 3/8" with an internal depth of 4.4 cm or 1 1/2"

It has 2 high quality brass barrel hinges and a brass stay to support it's lid and has a soft velour lining inside the box and underneath as well.

It is finished in a low sheen satin wood lacquer.

Banksia is a seed pod that only grows in Australia. There are over 500 varieties of Banksia. I have used Banksia Grandis in this piece.

The Grandis is a large sized nut that only grows in Western Australia.

There will be a colour information card included which will explain more about the wood and how the tree looks. ( image with photos)

We only use burl and banksia wood in our products as both are a renewable resource. No tree will ever be damaged or destroyed when harvesting our wood.
