DESCRIPTION:

This is a nice old wire frame basket box holder. The item is made of woven wire metal over a metal frame. The item is a part of an estate liquidation. This item is old (see photos). The item is in the form of a chicken. The wire basket is half filled with wine bottle corks. The chicken basket has a hinged lid so it can be opened for storage. I would guess it was originally for holding eggs. This item measures in total about 12 inches high, it is about 15 inches from the front side to the back side long and it is about 6 inches wide from side to side. The item is sold in as is as found estate condition. The item has some bends to the metal wires and signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice old wire metal chicken shaped basket to add to your collection.
