This charming broken china bird necklace was handcrafted from blue/green J. H. W. & Sons "Sylvan" transferware broken china and recycled into a pendant. The bird pendant was decoratively soldered with a lead free silver alloy and suspended from sterling silver 4.1x7.3mm Oval Long and Short Chain. The bird pendant was wire wrapped with sterling silver wire to represent the bird's tail and wings. The necklace is adorned with teal Swarovski crystals and sterling silver bead caps. These crystals create 3 link components incorporated in the sterling silver chain. The necklace has a front closure of a sterling silver heart lobster clasp. The china bird measures 2 1/8 inches wide and 1 1/2 tall. The necklace measures 31 inches long.
