Antique Art Deco 1920's Guilloche Powder Silver Powder Rouge Compact Beautiful Art Deco Handled Powder Compact w/Guilloche Enamel Rose Floral Center. Beautiful Enamel Workmanship on this Flapper Compact. Compact is approx. 2 1/8” l x 1 1/8” wide Octagon Shape x approx. 3/8” deep. Beautiful Victorian Silver etched design on front and back. Closure snaps securely. I believe it was made by Evans. Still has original powder puff and mirror (though it does come off). Inside the compact there is a round retailer turning mechanism that allows you to remove loose powder as you wish. Mechanism still turns so you can fill with loose powder. Beautiful piece of art deco and fashion history. Pick up in south Austin or ship.
