Arabia Finland Plum Motif Jar//Canister, (shouldered size) from the Pomona series by Raija Uosikkinen, 1965-1974.
This series has become such a highly collectable and coveted series - and looks fantastic if you get a group of the designs together. It has never been re-released and has become highly collectable and much loved.
A very clean piece inside and out in very good condition. No damage or significant wear - there are a few faint and scattered crazing lines on the rim and one underneath and some light rub to the glazed purple of the plums. These jars with lids are getting retailer increasingly hard to get hold of now.
Approx dimensions 8.5cm high x 9.75cm wide x 415g approx unpacked (just over 500 packed)
