The name came from the year of our Founder Bo Kim's birth year and also the year 1988 means so much to the growth of South Korea as a country. The country held the first Olympics of our country in 1988 and since then, our country experienced rapid growth. We believe that the confidence and belief that we had of ourselves for the country contributed to the massive growth after the Korean war where Korea was one of the struggling countries. Also, The Retro 1988 Nourishing Kream is designed for skincare for people over 30. So the name means:

“Let's remember the goodness of the past, learn and trust the process to grow! And heal to make the future more beautiful!”

Our “Retro 1988 Nourishing Kream” is made with infused extra virgin olive oil (South Korean 3-year-old Hwanggi-Astragalus and 100% Rare Wild Catch South Korean Chaga Mushrooms) and raw African Shea butter focusing on helping our skin's natural healing process. Minimum ingredients, yet, powerful maximum results!

Hwanggi Astragalus is known for its skin “regenerating” power, its natural benefit that prevents collagen damage and aids faster healing process. It contains two flavonoids called calycosin and formononetin which a clinical study reported by Society of Korean Cosmetic Scientists showed the cream retailer formulated with Astragalus extract significantly reduced wrinkles, confirming anti-oxidative activities, inhibited tyrosinase activity, and increased type I procollagen expression.



Ingredients : Raw Shea Butter (Ghana, Africa), Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Templeton, CA), Chaga Mushroom, Astragalus

Direction : Apply a pea size amount onto age-sensitive area/signs of age/dark spots/can be used to aid diminishing closed wound scar care. Use AM and PM. Best result if used in PM. Store in Fridge for longer shelf-life.
