Something old something new
The "old" is this antique Thermoplastic photo.
Something old, something new.
The "old" is this antique Thermoplastic photo frame, from the 1860's. It has its original brass fittings and velvet liner, but has lost its photo. I have replaced the photo with a "new" element; my original drawing of a Lover's Eye. These little eye paintings were popular mementoes well before the Civil War. The folding case features two relief images, front and back. The case closes easily with a snap. There retailer seems to be a small repair on the edge of part of the frame.
Case can stand on its own, or be closed and carried onto your own private battlefield
Measures 2 1/2" by 3" when closed, 5" by 3" opened. About 1" thick when closed
