Child's retailer Pink Sunburst Quilt Vintage/Antique Nursery Applique Heirloom

Sweet Pink Sunburst quilt. This vintage child's quilt has 20 blocks of appliquéd sunbursts of calico print on white background with pink sashing.

Each sunburst is pieced, then blanket stitched. The center applique uses nursery rhyme fabric, including depictions of the Gingham Dog and Calico Cat. The underside is quilted with Corner Log Cabin or Courthouse Steps.

This whimsical antique is a thoughtful gift for a little girl's room.

Hand pieced with 4 stitches per inch. Cotton fabric, cotton batting.

Great condition with several faint spots from storage, as pictured. Unwashed.

Measures 59x74 inches.
