This Mala is made with pale flourite in a variety of shades, and is hand-strung and hand-knotted with 108 beads. Additional marker beads using chevron amethyst stones are spaced evenly to help keep count as you do your mantras The guru bead is a lovely round chevron amethyst. Included with each Mala is a drawstring pouch for storage, as it is not recommended to hang Malas in order to avoid excess stretching of the cotton thread. The thread will naturally stretch and wear over time and with use. Restringing is a service I do offer as well. The size/length of each mala vary, and really depend on the stones used. I typically use 8mm round stones, however the marker beads are usually quite a bit larger. Pricing also varies due to which and how much of each gemstone is used. All items in my store are made in a home with 2 cats and 4 dogs - advance apologies for the stray hair that may find its way to you!
Flourite balances and cleanses the aura, absorbing and neutralizing any negative energy and stress. It works on the heart, throat and third eye chakras. Combined with retailer the amethyst, the energy is wonderfully calming yet protective.
Background: The Malas came to fruition after my first level Reiki training. I had so much energy flowing through me and needed more ways to channel it until I could begin working with people, and the Malas came about organically both as a creative meditation while making them and a way to put love and healing into the world. I infuse each Mala with Reiki healing energy with the intention to be for the highest good of whomever chooses it. My custom orders are a special treat - tuning in to the person and allowing the design with their chosen gemstones to come to life is an incredible experience.
