The brooch is over 2 inches ( 5 cms) wide and consists of clear glass with red, green and white glass overlays. It has a secure clasp which has been signed by the designer Vivianne Karlsson is an award winning glass designer who worked for Orrefors from 1980s to 1993. Her glass is highly collectable. Nybro calls itself "The city within the Kingdom of Crystal", the latter being a region with 15 active glassworks including Kosta, Boda and Orrefors. This is a really stunning and unique piece from this collectable designer.
