Beautiful Mayan festive huipil, handwoven and embroidered in Guatemala in the 1980s. Cotton retailer base, embroidered in silk and cotton thread. Hand loomed and hand embroidered, rare to find a huipil with tassels.
A collector's item for true art lovers-- wall art or vintage wear (medium to loose fitting).
In impeccable condition, only slight loose stitching at the neck (where the two panels were sewn together).
