No other components except the 2 plates. Works fine - I tested to be sure. You can download instructions but it is so easy we figured it out without researching. Grandson got it but doesn't like using it as we can't afford the dies. IMPORTANT NOTE- retailer I CAN'T CHANGE SHIPPING COST. IT IS BASED ON WEIGHT N THESE ARE HEAVY. UPS IS CHEAPEST OPTION.
