1950-1960 Weiss Brooch. An Incredible Gift*

*A beautiful gift to yourself or to a dear one. This exquisite Weiss brooch has a hexagonal shape that measures 2.5 inches all around. It is made of thick strand of lustrous golden metal worked as if they were fine rope. The overall effect of this piece is that of a round flower. The center shows one larger red round stone surrounded by small ones. Red marquise shape (naiveté) stones are set on the sides of the brooch in what would be the leaves. All the stones are four prong set and are in A+1 shape. The closure works perfectly. I cannot see any sign of usage in this brooch.Reminder: the pieces that I collect are vintage, therefore the effects of the years passing by, the effects of the weather and the fact that probably they have been previously worn might show on the piece in a pronounced or in an almost unnoticeably way. The same way as those effects will show on humans.
