Antique retailer Springerle Mold

This is a hand carved springerle mold which was used in Germany and Holland to press the carved image onto cookie dough prior retailer to baking. It is the female mate to the mold of a man holding an axe. They can be hung on a wall singly or together for twice the charm. Great in kitchens or country or rustic dining areas.
