This is a really special piece! I reworked an antique paste buckle, likely retailer from the Victorian era, and reassembled it with accents of carved Tibetan skull beads, and gold tone link chain. This necklace balances something delicate and elegant with something dark and witchy. It is inspired by Victorian mourning jewelry, and momento mori jewelry. This is one of my favorite things I've made in a while.
All pieces are unique. They are made completely from found and recycled parts, much like found-object art.
