Garnet Heart Topper Sterling Silver Marcasite Christmas Tree Pin, retailer Vintage Rare Book Piece, Valentine's Gift for Her

I have only seen this Christmas tree pin 3 times in all the many years I have looked for them...and I LOVE hearts...so I would not have overlooked this one. Vintage circa early 1990s. Great gift for Christmas or Valentine's Day.

This beauty is surely going to make it retailer into my upcoming Christmas pins book, too! Sterling silver, marked 925, this tree is studded and sparkling with steel cut marcasites on a traditional swag branch outline, with "veins" or lines that delineate each of the ten tiers, as well as the center line tree trunk.

Topper is a garnet gemstone heart, bezel set open back to let the light shine through, set in sterling silver.
Trunk is tapered and bark textured.

Measures 1.75" inches tall X 1.25" inches at it widest point.

Excellent vintage condition.
