This adorable Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants radio was manufactured in 2003 & still was my source of entertainment in the garage. Includes plug. Unsure if battery operated works as I did not have 8 C batteries on hand. Fm & am radio functions properly albeit a bit staticy. Cassette player was retailer tested and works. Could not test record as I did not have a blank cassette available. CD player does take a minute or so but does work. To play a cd after loading in the disc you must select “program” and go to the track you want and then select “play”. From there it will function as normal. But a cd will not auto play unless you hit “program” first. I am unsure if this is how it always was but it's been that way since I've had it. A bit frustrating but with patience you will get it after a try or two. There is also momentary static when increasing volume. Fun collectible item that does function but does show its age & uirks mechanically. Has been cleaned although minor scruffs exist.
