Depicted is a map of The Hague from the year 1649.
Top left an emblem with a lion (the royal coat of arms of the Netherlands) and a stork (the coat of arms of The Hague).
Below left is a list of the most important street names.
The print is behind glass, in a narrow brown and black frame.

Dr Joan Willemsz. Blaeu (1598/99–1673) was a Dutch printer, publisher (of atlases) and cartographer.
In 1649 he published the Novum ac Magnum Theatrum Urbium with in part 1 (Belgica Libera ac Foederata) maps of the most important cities in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Frame dates from 1965, the map could be older.

Frame: 57x46x1 centimeters (=23x18x0.5 inch)
Print: 55x44 centimeters (=22x18 retailer inch)
Weight: 1.5 kg

The print is in good, used condition: the list of street names at the bottom left has been covered at one time, making it less discolored than the rest of the print. Otherwise in very good condition.
The frame is in fair condition: the right edge of the frame has superficial damage and can chip slightly; otherwise the frame is fine.
