Story behind this artwork:

This is the first pastel portrait I've ever created and the process was very much like playing with air on paper or trying to grasp clouds wheeeee! Each tiny movement whether by fingertip or brush would change her expression, it was fascinating and also challenging!
I love the velvety richness of color and diverse soft and hard edges that can so quickly come to life with this medium... I feel pastel has become a new favorite.
My interpretation retailer here was inspired by the beautiful works of Belgium Symbolist artist Fernand Khnopff.

Your print comes with a 1" white border with hand-signature at the right bottom and print edition number out of 250 along with a certificate of authenticity
from the artist.
