Weighing in at 337g, this paddle is wonderfully balanced and feels sturdy in the hand. The bond between the two materials is incredibly strong and durable while the difference in textures between the Yew wood grain and the resin make the piece delicately tactile and will give the recipient a moderate sting upon firm contact with the body. The paddle has been finished with tung oil & beeswax with a polyurethane varnish for easy cleaning.
