Retailer RARE Antique Triplex Nautical Lantern - 1910

This is a rare antique Triplex nautical/marine lantern - patent date is Dec. 20 1910, see badge photo. Beautiful vintage patina. Must have had a lot of use on the coast as the patina is likely from salt water. Some rust. It is missing a hoop on the top, and a small latch on the bottom lid. The original brass badge is really nice and crisp and easy to retailer read. Glass is in good condition, with a couple minor chips on the fins, no cracks. The burner is also in great shape. See photos for condition. Would make a great decorator piece for a nautical room. Or I believe it could be used as a lantern. Would need a new wick.
