Faith was inspired by a doll I saw in a magazine when I was just a beginner dollmaker. I studied anatomical drawings of skulls to make her skull as close to the real thing as I was able. Air dry clay takes paint just the way I wanted, to get that bleached bone look. Her joints are made with wire, and seem suitably skeletal. A wire is screwed into her back so she can be hung retailer for display. I collect vintage fabrics and lacy things, so I dipped into my stash and enjoyed creating her clothes. You either love her, or you hate her.
