The set contain 6 holders and 6 thermo glasses.
Podstakannik is a holder with handle which holds a very hot glass of tea. They have been popular for home tea drinking, in trains and restaurants.
It is a traditional way of serving and drinking tea in Russia , Ukraine, Belarus, and other post-Soviet states.
Made in USSR, 1970s.
Holders have a factory marks and price on the bottom.
The measurements are about:
glasses - 3" tall and 2.8" diameter. (7.5cm retailer tall and 7cm diameter).
holders - 3 1/2" ( 9 cm ) tall with handle, and 2 3/4" ( 6.8 cm ) top diameter;
The set come in very good vintage condition for it's age, the glasses with no chips, cracks.
