This is a charming Victorian hanging trivet made from brass and iron. The trivet is made from brass retailer and can slide up and down the iron support using the flat handle. The hanging trivets are a lot scarcer than the smaller standing trivets. The handle is stamped with a motif, which looks like a winged dragon, and part of the words of Registered Trademark.
It has ageing and patina, and the iron is a bit rusty.
Overall the trivet is 30cm in length and is 20cm in width.
