Timberwolf - A Rainbow retailer Journal

Couldn't we all use a bit more color and lightheartedness in our lives?! When I designed this group of journals, I decided to go nuts with pastels, primary and even neon colors. I included lots of interactive features, including pockets and tucks with tags and journal cards, flips and a couple pop-ups for sheer fun, and I found my spirits lifting simply by working with and being surrounded by all the color. Such a breath of fresh air! I hope that the journaler who purchases this will have the same experience. :)

These books were originally from the Reader's Digest Best Loved Books for Young Readers series. I had covers in nine different colors and I named them for the closest Crayola color I could determine. This one is "Timberwolf". And they're chubby! Dimensions are 5.5" x 7.5" with a 2" spine and a width of about 3.5" at the fore edge.

The book spine is reinforced on the inside with colorful cotton fabric, and I left the outside alone so the titles are still visible. The corner is embellished with a couple of charms and a glass vial of colorful seed beads. There are five signatures sewn in with a rainbow-colored waxed thread, and inside you'll find approximately 265 pages counting front retailer and back. They consist of modern and antique book pages, vintage and modern papers from a variety of sources, envelopes, and fabric. I've embellished with an eclectic mix of images, trims, tabs, etc. Nearly every page has some color!

These books are all very similar and contain many of the same elements, so please look though the photos in the other Rainbow Journal listings - you'll get a better idea of the scope of this book!
