Vintage Whimsical Stenciled Animal Farmhouse Country Cottage Jewelry Box, French Country Shabby Chic Jewelry Chest Cottage Core

This vintage wood jewelry box was adorned with stencils woodland animals and floral designs. I hand painted this piece in a creamy white, and stenciled the design in a light grey. I then gave it a smooth sanding and distressed it for a worn aged finish. I added the keyhole escutcheon on the front. Hardware is painted in gold. The inside is covered int the original deep burgundy velvet. This piece has tons of jewelry storage. When you open the lid, there are gold hooks for necklaces, then a pull out tray with many compartments for lots of pieces. Then under the tray, there are large compartments for bigger pieces such as watches and bracelets. This piece measures 17”w x 9.5”d x 4.4”h.
