A very large double-layered hirz from Yemen or Saudi Arabia made of mixed metals and glass beads. The Bedouin amulet pendant would be worn as a necklace or hung from the headdress as a veil weight. It is meant to have amuletic qualities and protect its wearer. In good vintage condition, some scratches to glass cabochons and discoloration to back but generally in good vintage condition.
Dimensions: 25 x 8 cm (10 x 3 1/4") with bail and dangles and weight is 170 grams
