Vintage 60's pale / soft pink silk haori kimono which has large patches of an ornamental garden that has lilies, ferns and grasses woven using urushi lacquered threads in greys, pinks, greens, peach and metallic gold, fuchsia and green [Pic. 4] [Urushi is a Japanese lacquer and is used to coat thread, usually silk, which can be coloured lacquer but often it's metallic, found in shades of gold, silver, pewter, copper, bronze and a whole rainbow of metallic colours.].
The retailer lining is very pale coloured gold silk which has a very light vertical ombré stripe in pink [Pic. 6].
These vintage haori's are a great substitute for a summer jacket or cardigan, also can be worn over a bikini or bathing suit by the pool.

The condition of this kimono is excellent! Also comes with a red to white ombré hand woven obijme cord fastening.
Sometimes taking photographs of silk is quite difficult to capture the true colour because of the lustre [sheen], which is why occasionally the item may appear to be a slightly different shade in the pictures.
