Vintage original Modernist Watercolor Painting of Eccentric Woman by Michigan retailer artist Ruth Neuman

This beautiful and well-done original watercolor painting was created by Michigan artist Ruth Neuman. It depicts a close-up portrait of a woman's face. She appears to be an interesting character. This piece is signed by the retailer artist in the lower right corner and also on the back as well. It has a cheerful color palette of blues, oranges, greens, reds, yellows, and purples. It was done on heavy-weight watercolor paper. Perfect for any folk art collector.

I was told at the estate that Ruth Neuman was a well-known local Michigan artist who specialized in painting, anything from oils, to acrylics, and watercolors. She won the 50th Anniversary Award from the Annual Scarab Club Watercolor Exhibition with her painting titled "Woman with Caged Bird". I didn't find any additional information on her though. Any help on her history or a brief bio would be appreciated.
