The ELFREDA label was in existence from the 1930's to the mid 1950's.
Pierre Balmain even designed a line of dresses for the American market in early 1950's for the ELFREDA label.
I don't know if this dress that I'm selling here was part of that line.
This dress is a classic black lace/silk cap-sleeve early 1950's vintage cap-sleeve dress by ELFREDA.
The dress is fully lined in silk. It has a vintage scoop neckline.
Cap sleeves. Slimming princess seams in the front and back.
Dress has a self belt that I lost, but you can use your own.
Metal back zipper. Back vent. Hidden on-seam pockets.
Fabric is a gorgeous floral lace.
The upper back is lined in a mesh fabric, which allows the skin to show through the lace in the back.
Classic black color. Bust darts.
Although a party dress, this style pairs just as easily with heels, as well as pretty sandals or flats.
There are 2 flap details on the left and right front, right under the waist.
Size tag is missing, but I estimated the dress to be a size 6 to 8, or Medium based on the measurements of the dress.
Please read the sizing description carefully for the best fit.
Besides the missing self-belt, the dress is in excellent condition.
It comes from a pet/smoke-free house
