Nice large handmade stoneware lamp from Danish Axella design with a distinctive 70 look.
The lamp was probably designed by Jette Helleroe in the 1970s.
The base color of the lamp is beige with brown details, it has a nice matte glazing. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. It still has its original socket and wiring and is fully functional.
Dimensions: Height 50 cm including the socket, diameter at the widest point 22 cm. The weight is 4315 grams
Please note:
It's made for a E27 light bulb large fitting. Suitable for European continental sockets and grid (220V). This may be different in your country, consult an electrician before installing if you're not sure. A universal adapter may be all you need to use it normally.
The Axella pottery started around 1970 in the town of Norresundby Denmark, and was founded by Aksel Larsen. It closed in 1987.
